  • Provides more power at lower viscosity grades
  • 0W-30 grade ideal for short sprint races and for qualifying laps
  • 5W-40 grade provides excellent engine protection in race conditions
  • 10W-40 grade for older small capacity engines and modern production cars
  • 15W-50 grade used in larger engines for endurance
  • 10W-60 grade compensates for oil thinning due to fuel dilution

Primary Function: High performance, turbo-charged, super-charged, naturally-aspirated, multi-valve petrol-engined cars
Diesel powered race cars, including those with indirect injection. See datasheet for details.

Gulf Competition is a range of synthetic fluids specially formulated for, and tested in, race and rally conditions in a variety of cars. The oils have been used in the synchromesh gear boxes and final drives (differential units) including those with limited slip performance features so important in competitions such as off-road rallying. Gulf Competition products are used and endorsed by Aston Martin Racing. This team has have enjoyed great success at the Le Mans 24h Race and other events running under the famous Gulf blue and orange livery since 2008.

  • Outstanding protection against corrosion
  • Improves gear shifting performance
  • Maintains viscosity at extremely high speeds
  • Helps prevent over-heating
  • Lubricates under high temperature and high pressure applications
  • Protects hypoid gear teeth under normal and heavily loaded conditions
  • Protects gears against shock loading
  • Delivers more engine power
  • Reduces transmission chatter

Primary Function: High performance race and rally cars
Synchromesh gearboxes
Off-set hypoid differential units
Differential units with limited slip action, for 4 wheel drive
See datasheet for details.

Gulf Competition 2T [Ref:GU1133]Technical Data Sheet

Gulf Competition 2T is specially developed for use in high speed 2-stroke motorbike and go-kart race engines. Its low ash and has the ability to form and maintain an oil film under the high temperature and high speed conditions found in hot racing engines.

  • 20,000 rpm oil
  • Delivers maximum power and torque
  • Maintains an oil film on the cylinder wall
  • Reduces wear of engine components
  • Improves throttle response
  • Contains a strong blue dye

Primary Function Suitable for all high performance 2-stroke engines, both air or water cooled, including race engines for Kart, Off-Road Bikes, MotoCross, Snowcross, All Terrain Vehicles, and Small Watercraft. Can be used in 2-stroke outboard engines that do not require zero ash oils. It should be used only in pre-mix engines, not suitable for use in oil injector system.
See datasheet for details.

Gulf Competition RF800 Brake Fluid [Ref:GU1134]Technical Data Sheet

Gulf Competition RF1000 Brake Fluid [Ref:GU1135]Technical Data Sheet

Gulf Competition RF800 and RF1000 are extremely high performance glycol-based brake fluids designed for use in cars and motorbikes under racing and rallying conditions. They have exceptionally high boiling points, over 300 °C – amongst the highest available in the market for glycol-based brake fluids, and are suitable for use even when the brake discs get so hot they start to glow orange-red.

  • Minimises the risk of vapour lock
  • Resists oxidation at high temperatures
  • Superior high temperature stability
  • Superior low temperature fluidity
  • Corrosion inhibitors
  • Compatible with all seals and metals

Primary Function.Severest duty applications, especially for car and motorcycle racing and rally events.
Hydraulic brake fluid systems (disk, drum and anti-locking brake systems) in cars, motorcycles and commercial vehicles where DOT 4 is specified. See datasheet for details.
