There are both water-extendable fluids as well as neat oils designed to give the best possible finish to the worked metal and to prolong the life of the cutting tool. Processes covered include cutting, drilling, grinding, forming, drawing, stamping and quenching and the range caters for many metals and alloys, not only steel.

Gulfcut 56-UA is a medium viscosity light coloured neat oil designed for medium to heavy duty machining of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, where enhanced work-piece visibility is preferred. It contains a synergistic blend of light coloured extreme pressure additives to significantly enhance surface finish and tool-life even on difficult to machine ferrous alloys. The product is non-staining, and can therefore be used safely on yellow metals.
Suitable for grinding, and machining of ferrous and non-ferrous metals including difficult to machine alloys, giving superior surface finish and tool–life. It can be used as a medium to heavy-duty general purpose work-shop lubricant. It can be used to top-up all common neat metalworking fluids without adverse effect. See datasheet for details.
Gulf Cascade EP-SAX has been formulated to cross all performance boundaries. It is based on a unique additive combination which enables neat oil applications such as broaching and gear cutting to be considered for a switch to water soluble technology. This super high performance product is inherently low foaming and is a perfect choice for use in hard water conditions.
Suitable for all types of Aluminium and associated alloys as well as Steels. Can be used in all types of arduous manufacturing applications. Gulf Cascade HD-S is a high quality, chlorine free, biostable water-miscible coolant designed to give outstanding performance when machining a wide variety of materials from aerospace aluminium alloys to steels and titanium. It produces a low foaming, rich milky emulsion making it suitable for use with modern high pressure coolant systems. As well as being low foaming in soft waters Gulf Cascade HD-S demonstrates excellent tolerance of hard waters and its tramp oil rejecting properties provide a very clean working environment.
Suitable for use in both centralised systems and single sump machines. Suitable for machining a wide variety of materials from aerospace Aluminium alloys to Steels and Titanium. See datasheet for details.
Gulf Cascade GP-HS is a very high performance, ultra long-life water mix metalworking fluid, with a medium oil content, combined with excellent bio-stability. It has been specially developed to facilitate a clean operation. It is Chlorine free and is an excellent multi-purpose rationalisation product and is also suitable for arduous machining of all metals.
Suitable for all Steels, Aluminium, Cast Iron, Brass, Inconel and other high spec alloys, Titanium Alloys and Plastics. See datasheet for details.
Gulf Cascade GP is a high quality, chlorine free, water-miscible soluble oil coolant designed to give outstanding performance when machining a wide variety of materials from aluminium alloys to steels. It contains a synergistic blend of high lubricity additives which help to provide a coolant capable of meeting the most demanding requirements in terms of surface finish and tool life. Gulf Cascade GP produces a highly stable milky emulsion which provides a very clean working environment and which also tolerates hard waters and is very low foaming in soft waters. It provides excellent corrosion protection and is non-staining to sensitive materials.
