Gulfco gas engine oils are high-performance products, formulated to meet the requirements of newer ‘lean burn’ engines. They additionally protect against wear and acid attack from the materials that are generated during the combustion process. Exceptional reserve alkalinity offsets the negative effects of corrosive material on engine components to help prolong engine life and lower maintenance costs.

Gulfco MA is a high performance gas engine oil intended for use in highly-rated four-cycle spark ignited and “dual fuel” natural gas engines requiring “medium ash” oil or where “sour gas” is in use. It is developed for newer lean-burn engines and formulated from a selected balance of additives to provide medium ash (0.9%), high TBN (Total Base Number) and low levels of phosphorus and zinc.
Gas engines operating on fuel containing moderate levels of hydrogen sulphide (H2S).
Engines operating on fuel containing TOHCL (Total Organic Halides as Chlorides), landfill or biomass gases .
“Dual-fuel” gas engines ignited by diesel pilot fuel.
Two-cycle and four-cycle gas engines that require medium ash oils.
Systems with catalytic converters used in both field pumping and cogeneration units.

Gulfco LA is a premium quality, heavy-duty gas engine oil intended for lubrication of high performance gas engines requiring “low ash” oil. It is designed newer lean-burn engines operating under high load or high temperature conditions, and are sensitive to valve recession. It is formulated with a selected additive system to provide superior overall engine protection and reduced levels of combustion chamber deposits.
Two-cycle and four-cycle stationary natural gas engines where low ash oil is required.
Lean-burn gas engines sensitive to valve seat recession.
Systems equipped with catalytic converters.
Natural gas engines operating on pipeline quality gas, sewer, biomass or landfill gas (except high halogen gases or gases with high levels of sulphur and hydrogen sulphide).

Gulfco Fleet is a heavy-duty medium ash gas engine oil specially developed for use in modern, high-output vehicles using Liquid or Compressed Natural Gas (LNG/CNG) and Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG). It is formulated with high quality base stocks and performance additives developed for gas engines to provide excellent engine cleanliness, wear protection and overall performance.
Heavy duty vehicles using LNG (Liquid Natural Gas), CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) and LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas). Other spark ignition natural gas engines.
